I grew up in Kansas, moved back when I was 24 years old
I won tons of awards in jazz camps
Started when me and Gulli met at a party at my house
I was in a heavy metal band (Dark Harvest) but we were writing ballads that didn´t fit
Audio Nation came from that.
My whole family are musicians/artists
I was tortured to play saxophone, clarinet and trumpet as a kid
I´m gonna be torturing my kids with music
If it doesn´t have a good melody, I don´t use it
Only six places to play. The negative is that our music is in English and we´re an older band
Most of our following is outside of Iceland.
There are 10 festivals. It´s like a little mafia
I want musicians to respect other musicians
I respect sound engineers, it´s art what they do.
Rósenberg, I like the acoustic feel
