Peace Corps or acting? Gabriela Fresquez got her sign at a farmers market which led to acting school, hosting and acting on shows like New Girl and It´s always Sunny in Philadelphia.
With a background in journalism, social activism, and grassroots political campaigning, Gabriela Fresquez got a whole lot of opinions on just about…everything…AND the brains to back it up. After working in progressive politics, Gabriela decided to switch gears by pursuing a career that would truly enable her to change the world, acting. Producers at LATV took notice of her work on a web series and offered her a position to co-host the nationally syndicated news program, Latin Nation. Gabriela has since hosted other television shows, including Doc Talk on the Documentary Channel. In addition to her success as a TV host, Gabriela’s acting career has taken off as well – most recently with the role of reporter Christie Moon opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams on CBS’s The Crazy Ones, ship employee on The New Girl and the role of Michelle on It´s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
