Should you sign a non-exclusive or exclusive deal? Jennifer Yeko, owner of True Talent Management and True Talent Pr, takes us through the steps
Jennifer Yeko is the owner of True Talent Management and True Talent PR. Her background in entertainment and music includes work for Variety Magazine, Maverick Records, EMI Music, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, as well as several music web sites and personal management firms. She has been in personal management for fifteen years and specializes in managing independent artists and bands and music supervising and licensing music for film and television.
Jennifer has placed her clients’ material in over 50 film and television projects, including hit television shows such as “The OC,” “Laguna Beach,” “Smash,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Pepper Dennis,” “Windfall,” “Reunion,” “Boston Public,” “North Shore,” Comedy Central, “One Tree Hill,” “Summerland,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “Party of Five,” “Roswell” and MTV’s “The Real World,” “Road Rules” and “My Life As Liz”. She has also placed songs in national TV commercials for clients like Stride Ride.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fairfield University in Connecticut. She is a member of The Recording Academy, the National Association of Recording Industry Professionals (NARIP), and has served as a Director At Large for the Alliance for Women in Media (formerly American Women in Radio & Television.)
Jennifer brings her love of music, experience and enthusiasm to her role as President and Manager of True Talent Management, a company she created to promote talented musicians and bands who might otherwise be overlooked by the major label system.

Be careful about the deals you get!
Non-exclusive is the best, not a lot to loose
Don´t sign exclusive unless it makes sense!!
Music Supervisors and Blog, research them, what type of music they use/cover
Check References !!!!
