The man behind Aloe Blacc, guitarist Joel Van Dijk, has amazing talents, not only as a guitarist but as a singer, songwriter and music producer
Joel Van Dijk is a certified “triple threat,” making his living playing guitar and producing, while in the meantime recording, writing and singing on his own records. He has just released his highly-anticipated second full album, A Kind Of Blues, and obviously bluesy follow up to his first release “Truthseeker.” Joel has been playing with Aloe Blacc for the last 5 years, playing on shows like Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel Live, SXSW, Coachella, Queen Latifah, Letterman, etc and is about to open up for Bruno Mars this summer
