On Oct. 2013 our friend and an amazing musician Ryder Buck passed away.
Today we celebrate his birthday and honor him with two episodes:
1) Ryder´s parents: Chris and Shelley Buck
2) Ryder´s friends, bandmates and family
You may know him as The Guardian Angel mentioned at The Oscar speech for Frozen
That was Ryder Buck´s dad. Ryder passed away 24 days before Frozen hit theatres
Ryder behind Cameron Diaz
His dad brought him to the Oscars
He asked Emma Stone to marry him
He ended up kissing a girl in the elevator
His parents met while working at Disney
Ryder is around. Need proof.
Just look at his mom´s Words With Friends board. As explained on her facebook:
“WAGS, our 4 dogs. MOATS- as in his fave ESMZ song, “Home” , HOVER, as in all around us. FATE. WEBS, as in Endless Weave, the last song in his notes. COOT, a family joke about the birds that overran the park/lake his granddad established in OC. He hated the coots. BOD, he’s out of his. QUIVERS! Tres! His does “chin quivers” when he’s really excited! Ryder’s spirit, HOVERing? Ooh, the FOG, the blinding fog of that morning before dawn’s light.Who needs a ouija Board, when we have Words With Friends?”
His band Ryder Buck & the Breakers played at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, where Ryder Buck had played for the cancer survivors, last year, between his rounds of chemo. They awarded him the Flame of Hope Award.

INTRODUCING RYDER BUCK AND THE BREAKERS
Ryder lived five months cancer free, playing gigs all over the LA area, even expanding his fan base on a trip to Bali- his personal Heaven-on-Earth. He finally met and jammed with Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros…a week later they played at his funeral.
His band Ryder Buck and the Breakers continues to carry his message, “Share the Love”, singing his original tunes to an ever-expanding fan base. Ryder’s Younger brother Reed has stepped up to sing Ryder’s lyrics.
